ElAnalistaDeBits发布了《最终幻想7：重制版》Switch 2、PS4和Steam Deck三平台的画面对比视频。他指出，Switch 2版《最终幻想7：重制版》采用1080p分辨率运行，尽管这一分辨率低于PS4 Pro版的1620p，但该版本包含了此前PS5版的所有视觉增强功能，甚至在多个画面表现方面达到了超越PS5版的水平。

任天堂Switch 2版本仅配备单一显示模式，其分辨率为1080p，帧率为每秒30帧。
虽然这个版本的运行分辨率比PS4 Pro版要低，不过它却包含了之前PS5版具备的所有画面增强效果。
和PS4 Pro版比起来，Switch 2版在光照系统方面的提升最为突出，加入了更多的光源点、更丰富的阴影效果，还有体积雾之类的内容。
Steam Deck 版本需要把纹理和阴影设置调整到低画质，这样才能优化到 720p 分辨率、每秒 40 帧的运行效果。
